Scarecrow Invasion in Woodstock
Starting in October, downtown Woodstock is going to be taken over by scarecrows! Individuals, families, nonprofits and businesses all participate in this spooky holiday event. Participants show their creative side with these decorated scarecrows! Whether it’s scary, festive, silly or themed, all Scarecrows are placed along Main Street in Downtown Woodstock for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds from Scarecrow Invasion get donated to
INSeason. This organization works with the city of Woodstock to implement programs and events to enhance the town visually and the lives of Woodstock residents. Festival on Ponce in Atlanta
The annual Festival on Ponce in Atlanta is back by popular demand on October 12-13. This two-day arts and crafts festival is held in the historic Olmsted Linear Park. Come enjoy the beautiful and notable area while browsing over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk art and outsider art. This festival is great for the whole family with free admissions, a children’s area, live music and local food and beverages available! HarvestFest in Marietta
On Saturday, October 19, the city of Marietta hosts its annual arts and crafts festival! Guests can head to Glover Park at Historic Marietta Square to enjoy arts and crafts vendors, Touch-A-Truck,
Scarecrows on the Square, a costume contest and the Halloween Happenings kid’s festival. Take the whole family out to this fun fall festival to enjoy the best food, great music from a professional DJ and plenty of fun Halloween-inspired activities. The games, candy and inflatables are sure to keep the kids entertained while parents enjoy a stroll through the beautiful Marietta Square with all the festive scarecrows!
