Sold Out!

Home builder Heatherland Homes announces Camden Lake, a neighborhood of new single-family homes about eight minutes north of Villa Rica. This intimate community of just 38 new homes is 35 miles west of downtown Atlanta along Interstate 20.  A down payment assistance program makes it easy to transition from renter to owner with one of Heatherland’s two-story, low maintenance homes crafted to offer the best in contemporary designs to suit your lifestyle.  Select from floor plans with 1,672 to 2,555 square feet that feature dramatic two-story foyers, formal dining rooms for family celebrations, spacious great rooms for gathering around the fireplace or cozy covered porches and sunrooms.  Master bedrooms are outfitted with elegant baths, double vanities and double walk-in closets.  For easier living, opt for the one-level plans designed with second-floor bonus rooms and full baths ideal for guest or game rooms.  Masters on the main are also available.  Each new home in Camden Lake is finished with a two-car garage, and third-car spaces and basements are optional on some models.

Grab a fishing pole and stroll to the beautiful lake on the edge of the community where bass are plentiful!

Close to home

Shopping is plentiful at the nearby Village at Mirror Lake and Arbor Place Mall, home to leading retailers such as Macy’s, Dillard’s, Old Navy and Ulta, as well as Regal Cinemas Arbor Place 18 and IMAX and a range of restaurant favorites.

The nearby town of Villa Rica is rich in history.  Its nickname – “The City of Gold” – dates back to the Gold Rush of 1826, an event remembered at the Pine Mountain Gold Rush Museum, a 27-acre site of exhibits, artifacts and trails.  Each fall, the annual Gold Rush Festival brings live music, crafts, food and fun to historic Main Street.  Music and art play an important role here, and the city is home to the West Georgia Jazz Festival each spring and a summer concert series.  About 25 minutes from town is the University of West Georgia, noted for its beautiful 645-acre campus and history dating back to 1906.  Villa Rica counts among its roster of famous residents Coca-Cola founder Asa Candler, born there in 1851, and Gospel Music great Thomas A. Dorsey, born 1899.
